BAD BEAT JACKPOT RULES & REGULATIONS

QUALIFYING GAMES:
All cash games of Texas Hold’em will be eligible for the bad beat jackpot. In these games we will collect $1.00 from each pot in which a flop is spread. Omaha and 7 Card Stud are excluded.

QUALIFIED PLAYER:
In order to be awarded any monies, a player must produce proper ID, ex. Drivers License.
A Social Security Card will be needed on larger payouts. You must have been dealt a hand at that table in order to be a participant in the Bad Beat Jackpot payout. If a player leaves the table, he/she must return before they miss their next big blind to be a participant in the Bad Beat Jackpot payout. A new player waiting for their big blind is NOT eligible (except if they are dealt in a new game and waiting for their initiating blind).

QUALIFIERS FOR JACKPOT:
The bad beat jackpot will apply to Texas Hold’em cash games exclusively. The qualifier for the losing hand is “ACES FULL of KINGS” or better getting beat. In all cases, either four of a kind or full houses, the hands must have a pocket pair in order to qualify. In the case of straight or royal flushes, both hole cards must be used to make the best five card hand possible.

When the qualifier is a full house, a pocket pair must be used to form the three of a kind portion of the full house. (Example: KK and QQ would not qualify for the jackpot on a board that included three aces).

To qualify for the jackpot, there must be a minimum of two (2) players dealt cards, the hand must be dealt to the final card (the river) and there must be a minimum pot size of $30.00.

 DISQUALIFIERS:

Additional disqualifiers include fouled decks and collusion. If in the opinion of management any player passes any inappropriate information to another during the hand in order to influence the action, the jackpot could be disqualified. In all such disputes, management decisions will be final.

If there are two or more losing hands that qualify for the jackpot within the same hand, only the highest of the hands will be considered for the jackpot. If more than one game in the room hits the jackpot at the same time, the jackpot amount will be divided by the number of games in which the jackpot has been hit and then divided as listed above.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION (new):
When the jackpot is hit, the current day’s posted bad beat jackpot amount will be divided as such: the player that took the “bad beat” (the second best hand) will receive 50% of the posted amount, the player with the winning hand will receive 25% of the posted amount and the remaining 25% will be equally divided among the remaining qualified players.

Once the BAD BEAT JACKPOT reaches $50,000.00 …Everyone playing at a LIVE TEXAS HOLDEM TABLE will share in the JACKPOT!

50% of the JACKPOT will be distributed at the TABLE where the BAD BEAT was hit!  (50% to the “Losing Hand” / 25% to the “Winning Hand” / 25% to the rest of the Table)

The remaining 50% will be distributed amongst the players at all LIVE TEXAS HOLD’EM GAMES with each player receiving a MAXIMUM of $500.00.

In the event the payout to the room exceeds $500.00 per player, the remaining money will be awarded to the BAD BEAT TABLE and distributed as described above.

COLLECTION DISBURSEMENTS:
The Bad Beat will consist of the Main and a 1st and 2nd Reserve jackpots. The money collected for the Bad Beat will be allocated on a sliding scale. The initial allocation will be:
• 60% to the Main Jackpot
• 30% to the 1st Reserve Jackpot
• 10% to 2nd Reserve Jackpot

When the Main Jackpot reaches $100,000.00, the allocation will change to:
• 10% to the Main Jackpot
• 60% to the 1st Reserve Jackpot
• 30% to the 2nd Reserve Jackpot

When the 1st Reserve Jackpot reaches $100,000.00 the allocation will change to:
• 10% to the Main Jackpot
• 10% to the 1st Reserve Jackpot
• 80% to the 2nd Reserve Jackpot

When the 2nd Reserve Jackpot reaches $100,000.00 the allocation will change to:
• 34% to the Main Jackpot
• 33% to the 1st Reserve Jackpot
• 33% to the 2nd Reserve Jackpot

When the 2nd reserve drops below $100,000.00 the allocation of money will adjust accordingly.
